Threads
-
A thread lift is a minimally invasive alternative to a surgical facelift. It uses dissolvable, medical-grade sutures to physically lift and "anchor" sagging skin back to a more youthful position, while simultaneously triggering a massive collagen boost.
-
The procedure uses threads made of materials like PDO (Polydioxanone), PLLA, or PCL—the same materials used in heart surgery sutures.
Mechanical Lift: The threads have tiny "barbs" or "cones" along their length. Once inserted under the skin via a cannula, these barbs grip the sagging tissue. The practitioner then pulls the thread upward, physically hoisting the skin.
Biostimulation: As the threads sit in your skin, your body recognizes them as a "foreign object" and reacts by surrounding them with new, sturdy collagen.
Controlled Healing: Even after the threads dissolve (usually within 6–9 months), the "collagen tunnels" they left behind stay in place, acting as a natural support structure for the face.
-
Instant Gravity Defiance: Unlike fillers, which can sometimes make a face look "heavy," threads provide a vertical lift that looks incredibly natural and "snatched."
Nasolabial & Jowl Reduction: It is one of the most effective non-surgical ways to clear up the "jowls" along the jawline and soften deep smile lines.
Fox Eye/Brow Lift: Threads can be used to pull the tail of the brow upward and outward, creating that popular "cat-eye" or "lifted" eye look.
No Scalpel, No Scars: The insertion points are tiny (needle-sized) and usually hidden within the hairline or behind the ear, leaving no visible trace of the procedure.
-
During: You will receive local anesthesia (lidocaine) at the entry and exit points. You’ll feel some "tugging" and hear a "crinkling" sound as the threads are positioned—it’s a strange sensation, but generally not painful.
After: This has a bit more "social downtime" than filler. Expect swelling, a "tight" sensation when smiling or chewing, and potentially some minor skin "puckering" or bruising for 3–7 days.
The "Settling" Period: The threads take about 2 weeks to fully integrate. You'll see the mechanical lift immediately, but the "glow" and skin-thickening from collagen peak at the 3-month mark.
Duration: While the threads dissolve in under a year, the results typically last 12 to 18 months due to the new collagen.

The Lower Face: Sagging jowls and a softening jawline.
The Mid-Face: Flattened cheeks and deep nasolabial folds.
The Neck: Tightening the "turkey neck" area.
The Brows: Lifting heavy eyelids or creating a "fox eye."
